Sarajevo Airport surpasses 2020 end-of-year result

Sarajevo Airport welcomed 136.017 passengers in July, its busiest month since August 2019, reaching 76% of July 2019 traffic levels. During the month, the airport registered 1.582 aircraft movements. July saw Swiss, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi and Salam Air introduce flights to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital. During the January - July period, Sarajevo Airport handled 299.223, surpassing the pandemic-stricken 2020s end-of year result which stood at 249.642 travellers.
