NEWS FLASH
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will introduce flights between the capital of the United Arab Emirates and Sarajevo this October. The carrier will operate two weekly rotations, each Wednesday and Sunday, with the 239-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft. Sarajevo becomes the airline’s second destination in the former Yugoslavia following Belgrade. Wizz faces no direct competition on the route. Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, which commenced seasonal operations to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital last month, will end its operations for this year on September 15. Further flight details for Wizz’s new Abu Dhabi - Sarajevo service can be found here.
Bravo Wizz air i sretno
DeleteSo happy for SJJ, really. This year has been quite good. Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteJuly with 136 017 passengers. Good results but still not 180 929 like in 2019.
DeleteThat is actually not bad at all!
DeleteSarajevo keeps on coming with fantastic news! Well done :)
ReplyDeleteSo, no Emirates in Sarajevo definitely
DeleteI can. I said it doesn't have to mean, because currently FlyDubai flies 4 times a day to Sarajevo, instead, Emirates could send one b777 and give 2 more planes to FDB
DeleteWill this work out in winter ?
ReplyDeleteOf course. It will be a win for SJJ receiving Arab tourists in summer and Bosnians going to UAE as usually this is the high season. The temperatures are much better compared to the boiling summers.
DeleteBut can you fill such a big plane just with Sarajlije ?
DeleteEven Zagreb can not fill daily flights to Dubai with Flydubai ..
If you read the text you will see it's 2 weekly.
DeleteIt will be fun when they are going to divert every other day because of the SJJ crap weather/minima and the crew won't have enough duty time left to wait for the passengers anywhere else or fly back to SJJ even if the weather improves.
DeleteAnonymous 21:11 There is currently no line Zagreb-Dubai, while on the route Sarajevo-Dubai it flies 4 times a day, why? Because there is a huge demand for flights, while not for Zagreb
DeleteYeah, but just in summer !
ReplyDeleteIt’s not just up to Wizz air, up to airport management it’s the same
DeleteThe good thing about Corona is that airlines try things that would be unthinkable under normal circumstances like flying to Podgorica(Air Astana) and Sarajevo (Wizz Abu Dhabi) in winter..
