NEWS FLASH

Air Montenegro plans to continue operating flights between Tivat and Istanbul into the 2021/2022 winter season which begins on October 31. The Montenegrin national carrier will maintain a two weekly service between the two cities, with flights scheduled to run until the end of the year, on December 30. It is expected services will continue into 2022 as well. The new route, launched in mid-July, has proven successful for the airline and ticket sales have been strong so far. Air Montenegro maintains operations between the two with its 116-seat Embraer E190 jet. It faces no direct competition on the route, with Turkish Airlines serving Podgorica.
