NEWS FLASH

Luxembourg’s national carrier Luxair has revised its operations between its hub and the Serbian capital for the upcoming winter season, which begins on October 30. The airline will pause flights between the two from the start of winter until December 17, when it will restore two weekly rotations. Previously, it planned to operate flights throughout November as well. The carrier has also reduced its planned service between Luxembourg and Belgrade for the 2022 summer season, from the initially scheduled three weekly flights to two weekly. Luxair’s newly launched flights to Podgorica will be terminated from November 4. The airline will reduce frequencies from two to one per week over the next month and currently has no plans to restore the service next summer.

They should start LJU no doubt. In 2019 LJU and BEG had almost same number of indirect passengers to LUX (LJU could have more if we add those who drive to other cities and fly from there). I don't want to hear any excuses from Fraport why Luxair still does not fly to LJU.

Could SKP work for them, cause I’ve heard a lot of Macedonians travelled through BEG to get to Luxembourg...

Funny how they are resuming BEG once Wizz launches HHN flights.

In other news, Aeroflot extends BEG-LED throughout the winter.

It has nothing to do with Wizz Air but people starting to travel in big number for Christmas holidays.
