Windrose delays planned Ljubljana service

NEWS FLASH

Ukraine’s Windrose Airlines has delayed the planned launch of its new service between Kiev and Ljubljana. Flights were initially to commence on April 26, 2022 but have now been pushed back until June 4. Operations are to be maintained twice per week, however, tickets are yet to be put on sale. The Ukrainian carrier also had plans to launch operations between the two cities last year but cancelled them as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Based on OAG data, in the pre-pandemic 2019, a total of 10.068 passengers flew indirectly between Kiev and Ljubljana, making it the fourth busiest unserved route from the Slovenian capital that year.

What a surprise. This is just their 100th delay for this route.
