NEWS FLASH
Croatian start-up Pragusa. One plans to commence operations from Dubrovnik during the fourth quarter of next year after it failed to commence flights as planned over the summer. The company, which intends on operating Airbus A330 and A350 aircraft from both Dubrovnik and Prague to destinations in North America and Asia, has also adopted a planned new livery (pictured).
With the new livery its not a scam for sure! Hahahah
ReplyDeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteYou really can not be serious, this airline will never take of, there just isn't the demand for such an airline.
@Avionlet
DeletePan Am, Air Canada, Air Transat, United, American, Delta, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Malaysian, Korean Air, are companies which used to fly or are flying to Croatia. Half of all of the transfer passengers on european legacies to or from Croatia are from distant/overseas /long-haul markets. Numbers are not expressed in hundreds of thousands but in millions. And significant number of passengers are using premium products on those flights. I am very sceptical as well about this Pragusa thing and I don't think it will come to realisation, but it's definitely not because of the demand, because demand has been there for long time. The fact flag carrier is inert, incompetent and incapable to realise such flights doesn't mean that no demand mantra should be continued. We were hearing no demand mantra for LCC market in ZAG as well, for example.
Give it a rest. OU never had money in the past to waste on longhaul and certainly do not now.
DeleteOU never had money in the past because crime, corruption and nepotism ate one part, feeding LH for peanuts couldn't bring enough, and politics couldn't care less about the potentials both company and market have had. It was more important "uhljebiti podobne" at highest positions and saying once again '"Danke Deutschland "by wilingly giving away market and income. So I will not give it a rest and I will continue repeating how wrong everything in Croatia related to OU is. If you don't like what I write you are more than welcome to skip my posts in the future
DeleteI agree with you and there definitely is demand for some flights to Dubrovnik. I must agree there is demand between the US and Croatia, but I really don't see that much demand for Dubrovnik-Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.
DeleteAll in all I don't see this airline taking of for a lot of reasons, this is just one of them.
I personally dont believe that it would be a problem filling up the planes during the summer from any destination, but how would they maintain flights during the winter. There is for a fact hardly any passengers in Dubrovnik who are willing to fly during the winter months. Maybe they would switch all of their services to Prague during the winter or maybe Zagreb if they want to stay in Croatia.
DeleteAgain. Not gonna happend.
ReplyDeleteWhat is this joke
ReplyDeleteWhat is this a comment?
DeleteWasn't the first idea/plan that they are prague based airline and have their second hub at dbv.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes ofc they are scam
DeleteOh snap, it's April 1st already!
ReplyDeleteAny fool that invests in this company, deserves to lose all of their money.
Sounds very promising. Cant resist booking a ticket with them. I bet their landings will be extra smooth, and I finally see some fun pre flight safety instructions lmao
ReplyDeletePragusa, checked. What's up with Dalmatian? Please do not leave us in suspense...
ReplyDeleteYou should check what certain J.F. wrote about Pragusa one on Simple Flying aviation portal, it is really interesting.
