NEWS FLASH
Low cost carrier Ryanair will introduce its eighth destination out of Banja Luka next year. The airline will commence a two weekly service from Nuremberg in Germany to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s second largest city starting March 31, 2022. Ryanair currently maintains operations from Charleroi, Vienna, Hahn, Memmingen, Bergamo, Stockholm and Gothenburg to Banja Luka. Details on the new Nuremberg service can be viewed here.
Banja Luka is growing but it needs more flights to non gastos destinations.
ReplyDeleteis there a chance to have one day a direct line from Lyon to Banja Luka ,there is more of 10 thousand people around Lyon who will be happy to fly from France to Bosnia :)
ReplyDeleteFrom Berlin also. It would be great to have flight like before from Berlin to Banja Luka
DeleteGreat news
ReplyDeleteI hope they will return the line to Berlin
I assume Air Serbia's transfer traffic will suffer from this, right?
ReplyDeleteAir Serbia has no transfer traffic to/from Banja Luka as its flights don't connect onto anything in any direction.
Deleteunfortunatelly thats true. BNX BEG should be connected daily with 2 flights, plus INI BNX.
DeleteGiven that neither Bosna and Serbia are not EU members, can't they make an agreement for JU to park a plane in BNX to fly to Europe?
ReplyDeleteThat would be great but Air Serbia has no capacity and also willingness to do so
ReplyDeleteThey need to connect the highway to the airport.
