Volotea shelves planned Croatia expansion

NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Volotea has cancelled plans to introduce three new routes to the Croatian coast this summer. Flights between Mykonos and Dubrovnik, Athens and Split, as well as Bari and Split have been shelved until further notice. The three routes were initially to launch in 2020 but were postponed each year since due to the coronavirus pandemic. The airline has now made the decision to indefinitely delay their introduction. Both routes from Greece were to run three times per week, while the Bari - Split service was scheduled once per week.

Not surprised. These routes were primarily supposed to be for people cruise hopping.
