NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia has temporarily suspended flights on three routes due to reduced demand resulting from the coronavirus pandemic. During February, the airline will not maintain operations from Belgrade to Brussels, Sofia and Thessaloniki. The carrier currently plans to restore flights to the Belgian capital on March 1, to Sofia on March 3 and to Greece’s second largest city on March 4. No other carrier maintains flights from Belgrade to the three destinations.

It is soo aweful how some people on here hate any positive news . However negative development makes them happy. I feel sorry for you . Just FYI AS is showing extremly prepared with network planning based on demand considering current pandemic situation.

My friend had few cancelations for her flights from Skopje to Belgrade next week. I suppose it is very hard to fill planes outside June-September + Christmas period.

^ Especially during a global pandemic during which many from Macedonia are not allowed to enter the EU. But we have also seen Wizz Air cancel many flights from SKP too.

Same they did in 2020 and 2021 with Brussels. They suspended it for a month and restored. Anyway, they fly weekly for only 30-40 passengers, so I was wandering why do they bother at all.
Amsterdam is the most convenient alternative with train connection to Brussels (trains station in Amsterdam is accessible from the terminal directly).

I expect that some of the INI routes will be temporarily suspended or closed, but AirSerbia will still get the taxpayers money.

Swiss, Wizz and Ryan also suspended or closed lines from INI. Other than hate for Air Serbia you have proved nothing else.

Same for Zurich and some W6 & FR routes, they shouldn't have launched them.

Zurich is not terminated. Route is operated seasonally by Swiss. You can buy tickets for next summer
