NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia no longer requires passengers to wear face masks on most of its flights in line with rules set out by the Serbian government. Face coverings are still required to destinations where they are legally prescribed including the United States, France, Italy and Austria. Despite dropping the face mask requirement, Air Serbia “strongly advises” travellers to continue wearing face coverings for their personal protection. A number of European carriers have removed their on board mask mandates including KLM, British Airways, Swiss International Air Lines, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, Norwegian Air Shuttle, easyJet, TUI and Virgin Atlantic. Face mask rules were introduced by airlines in March 2020 amid the emergence of the novel coronavirus Covid-19.
Good riddance
ReplyDeleteWe're already seeing some airlines that dropped mask mandates having to cancel their flights due to staff shortages (as they're getting sick).
ReplyDeleteThis situation is very tough to navigate. Better to continue with mask mandates for a little while longer than to have flights disrupted.
Mask don't contribute much at all. Ask the doctors.
DeleteNever had covid, no jabs just mask in public. One good thing to pickup in east Asia.
DeleteI think you should rather thank your immune system rather than the mask.
DeleteBravo! About time all other airlines do the same.
ReplyDeleteWere the face masks worn by the crew in the photo ever permitted by Air Serbia? If so, why? Isn't the point of the face mask requirement to limit the spread of the virus? The masks in the photo have valves that allow exhaled air out. They're for construction workers in dusty environments, not for a pandemic.
ReplyDeleteNo Facemasks work. They didn't stop the China virus from spreading around
DeleteViruses, bacteria and fungus need all warm and humid environment to grow and develop. Without masks, aerea around our mouth and nose is cold and dry, with masks, environment becomes warm and humid. Except it, good oxygenation of all organs is vital for health. Masks reduce intake quantity of oxygen. Like everything else in western medicine, primarily medications and drugs, it helps for one thing, and make it worse for three others, and generally. The same is with masks. More harm than protection.
