NEWS FLASH

Air France has upgraded its operations between Paris and Ljubljana by introducing a second daily service this week. Flights will initially operate thirteen times per week, increasing to double daily from June 16. As a result, the French carrier will exceed its pre-pandemic capacity levels between the two cities from mid-June. Both flights are being maintained by the Embraer E190 jet. Air France was Ljubljana’s third busiest carrier during the first quarter of the year, handling 12.161 passengers. "We are delighted that our long-standing and successful partnership with Ari France is now being upgraded with an even stronger market presence, which even exceeds pre-Covid flight volumes", the General Manager of airport operator Fraport Slovenija, Babett Stapel, said. Air France - KLM's Country Manager, Idilko McPartlin - Kiss noted, "The additional flight will provide excellent connections to the rest of Air France's network, while the timetable is ideal for planning a weekend getaway to Paris".

They say sarcasm is a defensive mechanism for people who have nothing of value to add to a conversation. Seems about right.

Anon 16:14, you're wrong, the A380 can be perfect because the A350 doesen't have enough range to get to CDG from LJU

I don't think LJU can handle the A380 and AF retired it :(

Good job LJU. Anyone knows if any new jetbridges were added along with the new terminal?

Well, some good news regarding LJU are always welcome right?
And now that Lutfi began charging for seat choice, I wonder if AF will still be generous offering free catering and some last remaining perks. Personally, I flew with AF from SCL to CDG with their 772 reg. F-GSPL and it was a good experience. It gave me the creeps when it flew over the Atlantic for obvious reasons. Other than that, I think they are a good airline and now much better than Lufthansa which has become just another low-coster.
Other thing is that CDG is not one of the best for transfers. In Europe you have amazing alternatives like ZRH or AMS and the sunny Barajas Airport in MAD with its stunning architecture.
As someone above said, it would be nice to see AF with their A220 in LJU.

Yes, with the A220 like Swiss who almost always does from ZRH

Cool stuff, man. Hoping for a good summer season for LJU. I follow its developments very closely and hope it brings back its 2018/2019 levels.

Where is that genius who said AF will discontinue LJU when Transavia launches ORY flights?

JU is constantly full to LJU. I think they would have 14 if they had enough planes.
