Trade Air to wet-lease Saab aircraft

Croatian carrier Trade Air plans to wet-lease a Saab 340 turboprop aircraft for it upcoming domestic Public Service Obligation (PSO) flights. The 34-seat aircraft will be utilised in lieu of the nineteen-seat Turbolet L410 which was previously used by the airline on domestic flights. Trade Air was forced to suspend domestic operations in May due to delays by the Croatian government in awarding the PSO contracts. Trade Air plans to resume domestic services on July 18.

      Why lol?
      Beside summer, there is a winter, too.
      All regional flights from BEG to BNX, SKG, SOF, BUC, ZAG, SJJ, SKP... plus new such as DBV, SPU..., plus from INI and KVO...?
      Your "lol" is quite rich, but about you!

      The new ATRs will do that job just fine, like the previous ATRs have. Saabs are old planes and definitely not the most economical. Why would you increase expenses by adding more types for little to no reward?
