Zagreb Airport handles millionth passenger in May

NEWS FLASH


Zagreb Airport welcomed its one millionth traveller of the year this May, handling a total of 1.006.473 passengers during the first five months of 2022. The figure represents a decrease of 16% on the same period in 2019. In May alone, Zagreb Airport registered 265.317 travellers, down 14.8% on its pre-pandemic performance.

    So basically the difference between ZAG and BEG is now roughly only 200 thousand passengers. It clearly shows that the gap has narrowed a lot.

      BEG has not yet published its numbers for May. The 200.000 difference is 5 months in ZAG vs 4 in BEG

      Yes, but still. The difference was much higher in the past. I think the Ryanair numbers helped ZAG quite a lot.
