Flynas schedules Podgorica launch

NEWS FLASH

Saudi Arabian low cost airline Flynas has scheduled the launch of seasonal flights between Riyadh and Podgorica, with the service set to commence on July 28. The announcement comes as a surprise, after operator Airports of Montenegro noted the Saudi carrier would not go ahead with the planned operations this summer. Furthermore, it comes just weeks after Air Montenegro said it is seeking approval to introduce regular charter services between the two cities. Flynas will maintain operations to Podgorica once per week, each Thursday, until September 1, with its Airbus A320 aircraft. It will mark the first time the two cities have been linked with a scheduled air service. The Montenegrin government has temporarily lifted visa requirements for Saudi nationals until September 30 in a bid to lure tourists from the Kingdom. Further flight details can be found here. Tickets are available for purchase through the airline’s website.

Oh wow...okay! Didn't expect that one so fast. I think poor Crna Gora are trying to find a replacement for the Russian tourists. This idiotic war caused mayhem to many countries traditionally accepting both Russian and Ukrainian tourists. The maybe good thing is that Saudi tourists at least are expected to be a bit richer. Well done, MNE!!

Bosnia ended up stopping visa free travel for Saudi citizens. There are a bunch of articles that allude to attempts of religious influence by the Saudi government. Not sure It’s such a good idea
