NEWS FLASH
Zagreb Airport handled 292.761 passengers in June, representing a decrease of 13% on the same month in the pre-pandemic 2019. Fuelling the recovery was Ryanair, which despite downsizing its operations this June compared to its original plan, had significantly more flights than the same month last year when it had just begun operations to Zagreb and was yet to open a base in the city. During the first half of the year, Zagreb Airport welcomed 1.299.234 travellers through its doors, down 15.3% on 2019, or 234.871 passengers short of its record year.
