NEWS FLASH

Air Montenegro handled just over 230.000 travellers since the start of the year, with its summer season passenger traffic up 150% on 2021. “Despite the instability on the market, the pandemic, the events in Ukraine and a number of challenges in the aviation sector across Europe, Air Montenegro has managed to grow its destination network three-fold within a year. The company’s dynamic growth and significant increase in the number of passengers carried has led to the lease of an aircraft with greater capacity”, the airline said in a statement. This summer, the carrier is maintaining a total of sixteen scheduled and regular charter destinations. Air Montenegro noted it is already in discussions with tour operators concerning the launch of new markets for next year, which, if successfully concluded, will involve the expansion of the fleet.
