NEWS FLASH

The number of passengers on the busy Belgrade - Tivat service fully recovered last year and exceeded pre-pandemic traffic figures. During 2021, Air Serbia and Air Montenegro handled a total of 252.540 passengers between the two cities, up 6.8% on 2019 when the figure stood at 236.378 travellers. On the other hand, figures on the Belgrade - Podgorica service are still considerably under 2019 levels. Last year, 190.297 passengers flew between the two cities, down 39% on 2019. The two routes are still the busiest out of Montenegro and continue to be so this year too. During the first half of 2022, Air Serbia was the biggest carrier in Montenegro, operating the most flights from the country.

I am not quite sure about BEG-LJU, it was before pandemic for sure, but now I am not sure. It could also be BEG-SKP.

Only from BEG you have: LJU, ZAG, SPU, DBV, RJK, ZAD, PUY, BNX, SJJ, TGD, TIV, SKP, INI.
From ZAG there are also flights to SJJ and SKP, among those domestic (SPU and DBV are the busiest).

Montenegro Airlines had considerably mote frequencies to Belgrade than its successor .
I guess they wil simply hand over the market to their competitor ..

Yes, but with a bigger fleet. And there was the whole A320 problem, with the leased plane being out for almost a week.
