NEWS FLASH

China’s HNA Group will operate a charter flight each to Belgrade and Zagreb over the coming weeks with its wide-body aircraft. Beijing Capital Airlines will deploy its Airbus A330 jet between Wuhan and Belgrade on October 7. It will be the second charter between the two cities this summer season, with another HNA subsidiary, Tianjin Airlines, operating the service back in May. The flight will complement Hainan Airlines’ scheduled weekly service between Beijing and the Serbian capital. In Zagreb, Hainan Airlines will utilise its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner from Haikou on Hainan island to the Croatian capital on October 28. Both flights are believed to be chartered for Chinese workers.

Good to see they need charters in addition to scheduled flights. Hainan's return fares from BEG to PEK are rather expensive though.
