LOT approaching pre-Covid traffic levels in Ljubljana

NEWS FLASH

LOT Polish Airlines has seen its passenger numbers on the Warsaw - Ljubljana service near a complete recovery on pre-Covid levels. The carrier handled 17.693 passengers between the two cities during the first half of the year. While figures were still significantly down during the first quarter, which was impacted by Covid-related lockdowns and measures, the airline welcomed 12.260 travellers on board its aircraft during the second quarter, up 12.6% on the same period in 2019. Three years ago, Adria Airways codeshared on LOT’s flights between the two cities unlike today. The Polish carrier currently maintains eight weekly flights between the two capitals. Services are scheduled to run six times per week this coming winter season.

Lot has perfect planes for the base as well. One e90/95 and 2 dash8 would be a decent start :)

LOT is phasing out the Dash 8, so they probably need all the Embraer aircraft they have to maintain their schedules. If they would set something up in LJU, my guess is that they would need to source more Embraer aircraft.
