Pristina Airport handles over two million passengers

Pristina Airport has welcomed over two million passengers through its doors since the start of the year. In August alone it handled 371.246 travellers, representing a decrease of 3.3% on last year’s record performance. Over the January - August period, Pristina Airport processed 2.062.756 travellers, up 42.9% on last year and 25.5% on the pre-pandemic 2019.

    I suppose their result is likely to remain the same even in 2023 following their recent ILS upgrade. Similar to many other Balkan countries, because of the weak Turkish lira, there is a lot of travel to Turkey as it is much better in quality tourism compared to Egypt lets say.

      There are talks for visa liberazation end of this year. Next year will be a big boom for PRN.

    This is a very good result for PRN. Last year’s August was extraordinary busy, because diaspora was able to visit families freely after pandemics.
