Banja Luka Airport eyes Greece flights

NEWS FLASH

Banja Luka Airport anticipates the introduction of flights to Greece in 2023 as it enters the final stretch of its busiest year so far. The airport’s General Manager, Milan Račić, said, “We expect the launch of new flights to Athens or one of the Greek islands. Our aim is to serve half a million passengers next year, while the figure will stand at around 300.000 in 2022”. He added, “All of our routes have good loads, while flights to Tivat were most popular this summer”. In addition to Ryanair and Wizz Air, which jointly serve twelve destinations from Bosnia and Herzegovina’s second largest city, Air Serbia maintains flights to Belgrade, while Air Montenegro and Air Cairo operate seasonal services to Tivat and Hurghada respectively. In addition, Freebird Airlines runs summer charters from Banja Luka to Antalya.

Considering that there's no direct flights from Bosnia to Greece, BNX can get pretty amazing numbers on that route.

Wizzair have been cutting routes almost everywhere. I feel for SJJ but think BiH will somehow survive. Good luck.

Great news! Keep up the great work BNX. Could you please also look at the options to service flying from/to DXB, AUH or DOH?
