NEWS FLASH

Wizz Air is continuing to reduce its presence across the region this winter with the suspension of its London - Podgorica service. The budget carrier initially planned to move the flights from Gatwick to Luton Airport starting November 2, however, this will no longer be going ahead. Instead, the airline now plans to connect the two capital cities from March 26 of next year, with operations from Gatwick Airport. Rival Ryanair will continue to link London and Podgorica throughout the winter with four weekly services from Stansted Airport.

That is true but they offer convenient and swift connections to London's premium airport, LHR, via its growing hub in Belgrade (BEG).

Maybe its better news for Dubrovnik airport, some people especially from the area around Herceg Novi and Kotor might use BA winter connection from Dubrovnik to Gatwick.

It's no surprise. A deep recession is on its way to the UK. It might be very difficult for many of you in the Balkans to believe it as you think money grows on trees in the UK ! most people are struggling for money right now, record increases in energy bills, People are going to food banks for free food, many people are homeless. Travel is the last thing people can afford right now!
