Wizz Air trialling connecting flight option

NEWS FLASH

Wizz Air has launched a trial of a new Mix & Match option on its website, enabling some passengers to connect onto another one of its flights. After selecting an initial point to point service, customers will be offered the option to book a second connecting flight from the intermediate airport. However, it should be noted that connecting flights are being sold under two individual tickets. The option currently provides passengers an overview of Wizz Air destinations they can connect onto quickly from the intermediate airport and therefore book.

I hope they eventually start selling real transfer flights, at least for people travelling with no checked in luggage

None, since Wizz air is not guaranteeing its transfers or selling them as one ticket.
AS is not much more expensive, however the quality of the product they offer can not be compared to wizz air. So I assume this option will be used by the bravest or the most stupid.

Hello Globetrotters?!? That's offensive. Globetrotters fly from Argentina to Vietnam or New Zealand to Barbados. Wizz Air, with or without connecting options, is not of much use to them except over a small patch of Earth they cover.

This is all about Abu Dhabi and the onward connections the offer to the Maldives, and soon Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka. Once the XLR arrives, "connections" to even farther places.

Maybe first to try to don't change their timetable on monthly basis

This is Wizz's number one issue IMO. They can be cheap but practically every route seems to get a time change, or worse, every few months.

SKP being an airport so dependent on Wizzair and Albanian traffic can benefit a lot from this option.

Love it “Connect if you Dare with WizzAir” they can hardly fly you from A to B let alone flying from A to C via B.
