NEWS FLASH

The Montenegrin government has named SaÅ¡a Radović as Air Montenegro’s new acting CEO, replacing Dragana Frantov Nikolić. Mr Radović is not from the aviation industry and was previously the head of the Montenegrin National Tourism Organisation. He is closely associated with the Democratic Party of Socialists, which is headed by the country’s President. Ms Frantov Nikolić was a temporary solution although she has had over two decades of experience in the industry including at Jat Airways, Air Serbia and Aeroflot. She has been with Air Montenegro since its foundation. Air Montenegro issued a public call for the CEO position in March, however, no candidate has been selected by the government as Mr Radović has also been named as a temporary acting CEO.

Does that not look like a second Daliborka scenario in 2013?? Same profile of person......

"Daliborka Pejović, a high ranking member of the governing Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), will now lead the carrier. However, the Montenegrin government has missed the opportunity to professionalise the airline’s management. Ms. Pejović is serving as the State Secretary for Sustainable Development and Tourism within the government but will be relieved of her duties as she takes up her new role at Montenegro Airlines. Only two weeks ago Ms. Pejović was named as the head of the Women’s Alliance of the DPS."
