NEWS FLASH

Hainan Airlines will end its stop in Dalian on services from Belgrade to Beijing as of January 14. The carrier operated the stop (with the routing Beijing - Belgrade - Dalian - Beijing) due to quarantine requirements for inbound Chinese passengers. Flights between Belgrade and Beijing will continue to run once per week, each Saturday, with the Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The inbound flight will depart Belgrade at 14.30 on Saturdays, arriving in Beijing at 07.30 the following day. Tickets in both directions can now be purchased through Hainan Airlines’ website. China is lifting most of its Covid-related travel restrictions from January 8. From this date, airlines can apply to operate any route to and from China for the 2023 summer season, which begins on March 26.

Hainan went crazy with their fares during summer. I hope this will be fixed in the end.

Really, it is a no brainer, provided Serbia gives the assent. The demand is there, covid restrictions have been lifted, ASL gets two weekly flights and the Chinese get two.
