NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia and Air China have renewed their cooperation which started in 2015 with Air China again placing its designator code and flight numbers onto Air Serbia’s service between Belgrade and Vienna, while the Serbian airline will begin codeshareing between Vienna and Beijing operated by its Chinese counterpart. The cooperation was suspended during the coronavirus pandemic. In addition, the partnership has been expanded with Air China to place its codes onto Air Serbia’s flights between Belgrade and Tianjin. Furthermore, as a result of an interline agreement between the two, Air Serbia’s passengers to and from Tianjin will be able to connect onto Air China’s services to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Xi’an. Air Serbia’s Manager for International Affairs and Alliances, Ivana Miklja Mučalov, said, “With the commencement of nonstop flights to Tianjin, Air Serbia returned to China after more than two decades. We have already further enhanced our presence in this market, by renewing and expanding our commercial cooperation with Air China. We believe that this news will please passengers flying between the two countries”.
