Mostar eyes Wizz Air flights in 2024

NEWS FLASH

Mostar is hopeful Wizz Air will commence flights to the airport in 2024, after the two sides inked an agreement last year for the airline to launch operations. At the time, Mostar Airport announced the low cost carrier would commence flights during 2023, however, it now says services may begin next year instead. “We signed a contract with Wizz Air but flights to the agreed destinations have not been introduced yet as they [Wizz Air] have internal issues. We hope they will commence scheduled flights from Mostar in 2024”, Nedeljko Ćorić, the Head of the airport’s Commercial Department, said. The exact number of routes Wizz would commence from Mostar has never been revealed, however, the two sides had previously discussed services from Scandinavia and Germany, with Malmo and Dortmund initially suggested.

Before they sign something with Wizz, they should make sure, that OU publishes the ZAG-OMO flights.

It's a city with about 100 000 people living in it, also, the OMO airport looks awful and one flight could totaly fill the building because its too small, only 2 gates...

It's just that some of the flights to Sarajevo will start from Mostar.
Shameless! However, Sarajevo will get a new carrier this year!

Lack of staff like literally every airline in the Europe right now. For example, Lufthansa announced that they will cancel 34 000 flights next summer due lack of staff (10% of overall capacity)

Overworked and underpaid staff plague the airline. Additionally the CEO is in denial, and an incredible number of people are leaving the airline as a result. They can't hire enough people to replace those who are leaving, much less to be able to have enough crew for their expansion. I wouldn't fly Wizz this summer.
