NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Wizz Air, which boasts bases in Belgrade, Skopje and Tuzla in the former Yugoslavia, has launched a flight subscription program. The carrier has rolled out its Wizz Multi Pass, which will initially be available only on domestic services in Italy and international flights to and from Poland. The six-month subscription pass, which must be paid for in six fixed monthly payments, allows travellers to take either a one way or return trip each month. The new program is slated to kick off in May. As part of the program, subscribers will be able to select from four different plan options. They include: ticket only, ticket and Wizz priority, ticket and a 20 kilogram checked bag, or the most substantial package, which includes all of the elements already mentioned. Those who purchase a subscription can book a flight right away when the subscription starts and take their first flight within five days. Subscriptions will start on the first day of the month and customers will be able to take flights starting on the sixth day of the month. Subscriptions will renew on the first day of every subsequent month for the duration of the six months. Wizz plans to roll out the service on other markets as well in the near future.

Going regularily with them to BCN, sometimes they have minor delays, but am flying for 100 or less both ways...Would really be a shame if they weren't around.

This is excellent for those who travel every month, cuz with this subscription you will buy the ticket for less money plus u will not stay on their website nonstop to check if the prices are going down or up, as i said, perfect for frequent flyer, lets wait nad see what the price of the subscription will be!

Long list of commerical airlines and bizjet operators with subcription, bulk or advance purchase model. Limited popularity. Wizzair innovation: 0.

Is Wizz Air a budget airline, I don't think so any more. They used to be really good but now I think Ryan air are far better.

Some of their fares are still really good, but seems the cheapest is 20 euro, or 10 with Wizzair subscription. I dislike the airline but do find myself flying with them 10-15 times a year so the subscription makes sense. My last flight was delayed 3.5 hours and they paid the compensation/meals as promised. However last summer they cancelled a flight and I ended up spending 400 on a new one so its very hit or miss.

People often confuse "budget airline" for cheap airfares. "Budget airline" simply refers to their cost structure. Think low wages for their employees and "nickel and diming" their customers. They will always charge the highest amount possible that will still allow them to fill the plane.

Can anyone find the prices or where to actually buy the pass? There seems to be no link on their own website, just some basic info
