The need for home carrier shows. This will not sort itself out just with those 10 routes

It's just an illusion. The home carrier would not help that much.

Home carrier will only mean that LH, Swiss and Brussels will move and they will take over. No new passengers are going to be generated from it.

Of course, that's why passenger figures dropped immediately after JP demise...Slovenia need national carrier asap!

The market will take care of itself!
The important thing is that we exceeded 1 million, at least that's not a shame!
It would be bad if the passenger flow was below 1 million.

Just missing transfer passengers, p2p is fully restored!
Which means LJU is doing well.
Perhaps the only problem is that the connections are still few, but after the subsidies there will be a stir.

Aircraft movements are down almost 40%. So it's not just about transfers.

Yes, but most of airlines operating now from the airport sends largest jets as 737, 320 not CRJ as in JP times.

P2P is not even close to recover, you still have tenders for government to travel out of ZAG. That has not happened ever when JP was around.
It does not mean a lot if they send A380 if we have 2 departures to EU hubs at 7 am.

Maybe this year will see success with the subsidies.
When will Wizz announce and puts tickets for sale?

      Did someone mention a base?

Yup, everything is perfect. When we will be on 100%, other airports will already have fights on Moon...

We have 1.3, of which 99% are Slovenian. If you go back in time you will see that the results are the same, if we do not count the thousands of Albanians and Macedonians who traveled to Germany/Austria/Switzerland the results are the same?!

    4. Anonymous17:30

Also, many people do not think that, for example, if a Macedonian who bought a SKP-LJU-FRA ticket is counted twice as a passenger.
      So you're really right.
BTW does anyone have any info on how many transfer passengers actually were before the Adria and covid issues?

    5. Anonymous19:03

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I mean Lju results are far from perfect and from what it could be but the results are practicly the same as in the last years of Adria if you only count transfer passengers for 1 and not 2. I remember flying from Lju before covid and yes there was maybe a bit more of a traffic but surely around one third or a quarter of passengers Lju handed in Adria times was from transfers so…

No need to worry, the market will take care of itself!
Wondering if you'll see any new destinations or airlines this summer?

Good numbers, better than last year with one plane per day.
