NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia has expanded its codeshare partnerships with Aegean Airlines, Air Europa and Qatar Airways. The Serbian carrier has added its JU designator code and flight number onto Aegean Airlines’ service between Athens and Lisbon, as well as on Air Europa’s operations from Madrid to both Lisbon and Porto. Furthermore, Air Serbia has begun codesharing on Qatar Airways’ flights between Doha and Male, the capital of the Maldives. The codeshare was made possible after Serbia recently signed an Air Service Agreement with the Maldives. The Serbian carrier already has a wide-ranging codeshare partnership in place with all three airlines.

Because the person who is in charge of them is probably unaware they fly to LIS. Once she asked a colleague if the A319 is approved to fly to the US. Another time she asked if JU is flying o India. lol

What is the purpose of these codeshares since their price is not attractive at all? ATH to LIS in particular makes no sense at all.

@anon1603- actually it does. Especially Lisbon. Those flights are sold out on JU flights so JU will manage to send their pax with other airline's capacity
