Turkish Airlines upgrades Tivat service

NEWS FLASH

Turkish Airlines is upgrading its seasonal summer operations between Istanbul and Tivat to a year-round service. The carrier will continue to maintain flights between the two cities throughout the entire winter season, which begins on October 29 and runs until March 30. Last winter, flights were not operated between late October and late March. The Turkish carrier plans to run five weekly services between the two cities with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, although equipment is likely to vary. Turkish Airlines introduced flights to Tivat, its second destination in Montenegro after Podgorica, during the summer of 2022. The route has proven extremely successful with frequencies increasing from three to five per week this summer. Besides Turkish Airlines, Air Montenegro plans to maintain the route on a daily basis this winter.
