Air Montenegro eyes German network expansion

NEWS FLASH

Air Montenegro is considering expanding its operations in Germany during the 2024 summer season. The carrier’s representative, Tatjana Babović, said, “We are evaluating our operations on the German market for next year. Currently, we have a scheduled service to Frankfurt, which is maintained on a seasonal basis, but for next year we are looking at adding a couple of destinations. For now, several cities are in play, including Munich, Dusseldorf and Hannover. We will evaluate the demand from German tourists and look to bring Montenegro closer to them”.

Even thinking about expansion is winning, no actual work required.

I think AirSerbia cannot launch MUC, they are too week and incapable of doing so. And I ma so happy for this, because instead of MUC they have 90 other destinations.

Honestly, Montenegro has done a lot since establishing its new national airline. It might be funny to some but it is..... If FR and W6 decide to suspend flights? It will be like with TZL. Maybe only Air Serbia will win from this….

The biggest winner from removing LCC's from Montenegro would be Air Montenegro.

Air Montenegro is the most expensive option to fly in Montenegro. so if Low cost carriers are removed then people are forced to fly more with air montenegro when the air serbia flights are full. because using belgrade to transfer is still cheaper than flying direct from Podgorica

I hope air montengro grows. a fleet of at least 5 to 10 E170 would be great for them

They'll start CGN-TZL on 1.11. so we know who will be the new airline at TZL.
