Air Montenegro registered a net profit of 3.8 million euros during the first three quarters of the year, handling 397.361 passengers. The number of customers has grown 36% on the same period last year, while the carrier improved its financial result by 3.6 million euros on 2022. The airline operated 4.712 flights, or 1.280 operations more than in 2022. Air Montenegro’s busiest route was Belgrade, followed by Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Ljubljana, Paris, Prague, Chisinau, Bratislava, and Frankfurt. The highest average cabin load factor was recorded on services to Chisinau, followed by Brno, Katowice and Prague.
Great showcase to slovenian government that even a small airline can be profitable
ReplyDeleteAny kind of a new airline would cost Slovenian government more then LJU sale to fraport. Whatever Slovenian government does, in long term "Dara will be more expensive, then Mera" if government want to beat ZAG which now looks like a wet dream.
DeleteThis is for all Adria lovers that yell since 2019, that we need new airline, no matter what. Yes, we may need it, but one that will make profit and not the one that has loss already installed in it's business plan. And is run by pilots.

DeleteSure, they can be run by EX-pilots, if they proove to be competent. But an airline being run by active pilots...well, it's doomed for failure. Don't belive me? We've seen Adria, didn't we?

DeleteIt would be very long flight for an ATR. Maybe its even impossible. I remember the flight of Windrose from Kyiv to Skopje with ATR was 3:45h

DeleteChisinau was a charter that was sold out - apart from the cancellations, so yes, it wasn't 100% LF but AirMontenegro got paid in full
