NEWS FLASH
Pegasus Airlines will inaugurate a new seasonal summer service between Antalya and Sarajevo in 2024. Flights will commence on June 3 and operate twice per week, on Mondays and Fridays, with the 186-seat Airbus A320 aircraft. It will complement the carrier’s year-round flights between Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport and the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Antalya flights will be maintained until October 14. Tickets are expected to go on sale shortly. Further flight details can be found here.
Nice!
ReplyDeleteIs it only Skopje that has winter flights to Antalya?
ReplyDeleteand Belgrade I think
DeleteIt’s only Skopje
DeleteBEG has charters to Antalya throughout the year but not scheduled flights. Despite Antalya being one the busiest routes out of Belgrade on an annual level it is only served through charters as it is not part of the bilateral air service agreement.
DeleteJU has categorically announced several times that Antalya will remain a charter route in the future. They said it was the job of the tour operators. And realistically I don't think JU will start flying there. A good option would be Anadolujet in the next arrangements for new frequencies and destinations.
DeleteThere were over 200,000 passengers on the Antalya route last year. JU will not allow Anadolujet to fly scheduled flights from there.
DeleteIzmir - Skopje is expanded to 3 weekly
ReplyDeleteAnd SunExpress operates twice a week on the route instead of once this winter plus twice to Antalya.
DeleteVery good for airport as Skopje.
DeleteSunExpress will probably serve this and Izmir from SJJ, announcement soon
ReplyDeleteit wont surprise me.
