Air Serbia handles 3.8 million passengers

Air Serbia handled over 3.8 million passengers between January and November of this year. In the penultimate month of 2023, the airline welcomed 298.322 travellers, representing an increase of 39% compared to the November last year and a 60% jump on the pre-pandemic 2019. The national airline operated a total of 3.560 flights during the month, up 40% and 54% on November 2022 and November 2019 respectively. Regionally, the most popular destinations in November 2023 were Podgorica and Tivat. In Western Europe, passengers travelled the most to Zurich, followed by Paris, Rome, and Milan, while in the broader Euro-Mediterranean region, the most sought-after Air Serbia flights were to Istanbul, Athens, and Barcelona. Since rebranding in October 2013 up until today, the Serbian carrier has handled over 26 million passengers.

    This actually means that BEG was on approx 550.000 passengers in November coming to 7,25 mil in 2023.

    Probably this year BEG will go on 7,9 million, but I do not think it will reach 8 miliion.

      Agreed. It will be very close, but even reaching 7 million was a stretch before the first couple of months of this year. Close to 8 million is amazing.

    Air Serbia had about 3.88 million this year so far. If the current trend continues of 39% growth in comparison to 2022, JU will go to 4.2 million by the end of the year.
