Finally a positive trend, but still far from recovery, comparable to other airports in the region. With "Adria transfer passengers" not counted, it's still approx -15% down (even more compared to 2018, which is a better year for benchmarking), which is the worst in region.

-15% But here do we count passengers on this trip: For example SJJ-LJU-CPH-LJU-SJJ? If you count like that, ok. The situation is not so bad. 15% is nothing, next year it won't be 15.

Pax from this example was counted 4x. -15% is without those passengers, which is not brilliant... Yes, next year will be better, but other airports will be better too... So LJU is lagging behind significantly and the main reason is they don't have an airline that has a base there.

1.300.000 pax is a realistic number; which would be solid...For Maribor if they were smart and let Wizz try to compete with Zagreb for free (or a really small fee)

Yes, work for free so that some people can boast about airport passenger numbers online.

Whenever an article about LJU is published, there's always someone trying to applaude Fraport ... for doing nothing at all :)

Building a complete new terminal and investing heaily into the whole airport infrastructure is considered as "doing nothing"?

Does anyone know, when will the airlines that applied for the tender launch flights?

AF share in LJU is simply laughable for such a large airline connecting such a large airport, with Wizz Air being almost dormant there, they offer more seats with 5-6 weekly flights. Other than that, it is indeed good news that the numbers are back to green again. 2024 is likely to continue with the steadily growth. Fingers crossed to see QR landing in LJU next year! :D

Agree, it seems like AF-KLM is not at all interested in LJU, a share of the group is small and looks like they are not interested in growing in the Slovenian market. On the other hand LX is doing a great job, growing almost to to the capacity of LH to FRA and MUC together.

The oct.nov. numbers are misleading since they are only green because in Oct 2019 Adria Airways stopped operations and the pax numbers plummeted.
    Misleading publicity stunt!
