NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia is hiring new cabin crew members ahead of next year’s summer season and in line with its planned expansion. “Almost a thousand candidates applied for the first call held in February this year, and over 200 of them have since been trained and are now part of the Air Serbia team. The national airline’s accelerated growth created a need for further expansion of the cabin crew team. We have now initiated a new call and are inviting everyone interested to apply as soon as possible”, Milica Netković, Air Serbia’s General Manager for People and Performance, said. Those interested in applying must be Serbian citizens, at least eighteen years of age with a high school degree, valid passport, and must be proficient in English. The application deadline has been set for December 20. Further details can be found here.

I think it boils down to one’s attitude. If your world is all doom and gloom about everything, which is a common local trait, then your longevity with a job is more likely to be compromised. Judging by a few of the above comments, the ever present complement of the doomed and gloomed seems to be, as always, most vociferous.

You make some valid points. Add to that not the most respectful relations with their employer and you have an unreliable work environment.

Employer is unreliable. For example they forgot to post Elevate magazine online in the past two months.

Just getting two additional a330 in 2024 will require dozens of cabin crew.
