NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia will commence regular charter flights between Belgrade and Marsa Alam in Egypt, which has become a gateway to the popular tourist destinations along the Red Sea, According to the 1A tour operator, the Marsa Alam service will operate once per week, each Saturday, from April 20 until October 19. The flights will complement Air Serbia’s regular charters to Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh, and Marsa Matruh in Egypt. The latter was introduced to the carrier’s charter program last year, with the service to be continued during the 2024 summer season.

      I've been to Morocco an I don't think it will be the type of place our ex-yu tourists would like. I found the ocean water quite chilly and also public hygiene is not a thing (careful with food and water as they are contaminated in many parts). Plus the persistent haggling by vendors is well annoying.

      Ocean? People travel to Morocco for ocean? What about Mediterranean coast, cities, and mountains?

      @anon16:28

      I was traveling with a motor home and visited both the Mediterranean side and the Atlantic, the cold water currents from the Atlantic come in through the strait and make the water on the Moroccan med sea coast very chilly as well. And the Atlantic in that area is cold because of the constant current coming up from the north from the direction of Portugal and Azores. I liked chefchouen, Marakesh, Tagazout&Agadir and the Atlas mountains, good one day experience of the sahara dunes. (But sahara can be experienced in egypt as well). Just saying that I think our people prefer Egypt more than Morocco because of hot waters.

      What for? You can only purchase tickets to Cairo, all other flights you listed are for agencies so impossible to fly on your own.

      Yes, because most people go to those destinations via agencies. Those cities have beach resorts and agencies have preferred price in them. So it makes sense to go via agency.

      Sometimes you can book only the flight via agency, check with them. But for Egypt I would still recommend travel with agency.
