NEWS FLASH
Low cost carrier Transavia France has pushed back the resumption of its seasonal flights from Paris Orly to both Ljubljana and Podgorica compared to its original plan. Late last year, the carrier announced it would bring forward its service resumption on the two routes to March 7 but has now opted to push back its return to April 5 to the Slovenian capital and April 6 to the Montenegrin capital. Tickets sales between early March and early April have been suspended. Further changes remain possible.
So much for the guy who yesterday argued with me in the comments that he would rather fly with Transavia than with Ryanair from Trieste even if it is much cheaper.
ReplyDeleteI still wouldn’t fly FR to Beauvais instead of Paris. And FR starts just 2 days before on April 3. So, what was the point of your comment?
DeleteThe point is that Ryanair does not cancel flights like this, it is substantially cheaper, and it offers the exact same service.
DeleteBut doesn’t fly neither to Ljubljana nor to Paris. So, as someone already calculated yesterday it is not cheaper. And also time is money, at least for me traveling hours to/from airports is never an option. As I initially said yesterday: It is good to have different options that suit different types of passengers. Have a nice day!
DeleteAbsolutely, options are great. Despite all the negativity here, I think Ljubljana is quite lucky by having Trieste, Zagreb and Venice nearby to complement its own offer.
Delete"Substantially cheaper" commute to Trieste + parking + hidden fees + not even flying to Paris, but Beauvais does not make the offer better than flying from LJU
DeleteFrom Beauvais to Paris it's 15 euros each way for a return ticket and the journey is an hour and a half.
DeleteFrom Orly to Paris it's 2 euros each way and it's 50 minutes.
Wrong. From beauvais to paris is 16 euros one way and one way train to Treise is 10 euros ( at least it was on January 6th 2023 ). So as i said yesterday, 56 euros is the additional expenses you need to cover if you want to fly with Ryanair. I can also fly from Tirana every time but i need 45 euros for return ticket from skopje ti tirana and 14 hours more of traveling.
DeleteEasiest solution - fly with Easyjet (even if you need a connecting flight) as they fly to CDG :) Still cheaper out there than legacy carriers and CDG is worth it. Well connected to the city
Deleteto add to my latest comment - I usually fly BEG - GVA - CDG and it's the cheapest way even with 2-3 h layover in GVA.
Delete@01:23 GVA is to ORY, NCE is to CDG. U might have mixed it up? Also NCE is only W6 from BEG
DeleteTheir NEOs are late and thus this
ReplyDeleteFlew on their first 320NEO and its amazing. People can put down Transavia all they want, much better NEO experience than Wizz (jizz). I can charge my phone too (USB ports on every seat)
DeleteFlew recently on Transavia 321NEO. Agree. Great aircraft.
Deleteanother joke of an airline
