Marathon has started flying for Cameroon's Camair.
Hopefully JU can find other E-jets to lease.

Their E195s are not flying for Camair.

      SX-RMA is stored in WAW.
      OY-GDA is stored in BEG.

Those two are available for JU to dry-lease them, but they need to negotiate it with the owner.
There is also OY-GDB ready for JU to take it, however it needs to be repainted first, whereas these two are already in JU livery.

I hope you know that the AS expansion started with the 2023. summer schedule and that this is still a reflection of that increase. In the second half of this year, that effect will be lost, so the increases will fall below 10%.

Personally I am optimistic you guys. Economic reports from Serbia are solid. It was reported that in the region Serbia has the lowest chance of recession (30%) while industrial activity grew by 6.9%.

These two factors combined should make sure there is strong demand for BEG. Also someone posted on here that Sava Centar will have several European congresses with over 8.000 participants.

    Congratulations.

Meanwhile JU reduced IST this summer to just 13 weekly flights. Congratulations to Marek and his team on this outstanding success!

Thank God there is Turkish Airlines which is stable and reliable. Air Serbia went from triple daily flights to not even having double daily.

JU went from 17 weekly to 13 weekly (-4 flights)
TK went from 0 to 4 on SAW-BEG (+4 flights)

I hope no one at JU was bribed to reduce their flights to Istanbul. It's suspicious though.

Belgrade had 7.95 million in 2023. It already added 208 thousand above 2023 levels in the first two (slow) months. If they keep this 25% growth Belgrade airport will have 9.93 million in 2024.
