^ What is the point of lying? It is operated for Icelandic tour operator. Same reason PLAY starts scheduled flights to Split.

It isnt today, though when it was started in the early 2000s it was a Joint Venture between TUI and Alpitour. TUI was kicked out of the company by 2008 i think

Let's improve the tourism product first, let's stop the construction on Croatia's gold coast. Why does every mutt have to be on shore? Why is there not an inch of land without a villa or hotel.

Well, this is one of the reasons why Croatia develops more cultural tourism than sea tourism. It's just that people are fed up, it's no coincidence that we also see more outbound tourist flights. Construction has reached its maximum.

You pick up the phone, book a hotel in Greece or Italy, and that's it. It's cheaper, it's green, and there's no construction on every corner. Why pay that money here when in Corfu I can get the same services for much less money?

Well, people know how to do tourism.
11:20 Still, I don't see marine tourism disappearing. I agree about the constructions, but the figures for the tourists who arrived speak for themselves.

What Greece did is that it preserved its virgin nature, and we cut it down and concreted it.

In terms of quality I would say it is the same but it depends where you go in both Croatia and Greece. When it comes to prices, we can't deny that here in Croatia we are being eaten straight.

Croatia has become expensive as € was introduced, sadly unscrupulous individuals used transition to make rich fast, in Croatia there are many such characters. They bring bad name and reputation of the country, so country is becoming more expensive and less appetizing as a destination. I guess rapidly growing economy, country becoming rich and being part of the exclusive club of wealthiest nations doesn't help either, even when you're among the poorest and smallest among the club of wealthy.

Croatia also suffers from over-tourism, it is normal that after so many hotels have been built, there are also so many tourists. It's all about the money guys.
