NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines introduced seasonal flights from Zagreb to both Stockholm and Berlin this week, which will be maintained three times per week each by its Airbus A320-family fleet. Berlin becomes the third destination in Germany to be served by the airline from its Zagreb hub, alongside Frankfurt and Munich, while the Zagreb - Stockholm route resumes after four and a half years. To mark the occasion, ceremonies were held at Zagreb, Stockholm and Berlin airports. The Croatian carrier will commence another new service, between Zagreb and Tirana, next month. The airline’s Zagreb expansion benefits from the airport’s Connecting Capital Cities Incentive Model, with all three cities covered by the scheme. "We are delighted that this year, in accordance with current market demand and in cooperation with Zagreb Airport and the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb, we have expanded our international network from Zagreb to European destinations. I believe that passengers will recognise the value of our new services and use them as the quickest way to reach our capital, which will contribute to the development of Zagreb's tourism capacities and even more successful operations at Zagreb Airport", Croatia Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer, Slaven Žabo, said.

Good Job Croatia! Next time Zagreb-Tirana. This will connect these two countries and will keep them closer. Hope a seasonal flight with Zadar or Pula with Tirana, since Dubrovnik it's closer.
