Croatia Airlines and AFI KLM ink A220 component deal

Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) has announced it will provide comprehensive component support for Croatia Airlines’ incoming Airbus A220 fleet. The Croatian carrier will receive a range of component support services, including repairs, access to a dedicated pool of spare parts and logistics support. The MRO provider says the collaboration will enable Croatia Airlines to benefit from its state-of-the-art repair facilities and innovative maintenance solutions, ensuring optimal aircraft availability and reliability. Marcel Kuijn, Vice President of Sales Europe and Key Accounts for AFI KLM E&M, said, “Our complete component support services are designed to meet the specific needs of new-generation aircraft, and we are committed to providing Croatia Airlines with the highest level of operational excellence and reliability”. Recently, Croatia Airlines signed an agreement with TP Aerospace for A220 wheel maintenance. The Croatian carrier is set to take delivery of its first of fifteen A220s next month.

    can't this be done @Zagreb airport Croatian Airlines own technical facility or they lack expertise/certification for A220 series ?

    This is all a joke ....
    No commonality with other airbus models
    A220 competes with A320/319
    And today Boeing announced a buy out of Spirit Aerosystem, the main component producer for the A220!!
    A stupid joke .....
