 NEWS FLASH

Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport registered its busiest July on record, handling 913.255 travellers, representing an increase of 1.2% on last year. The number of aircraft movements remained mostly unchanged, increasing 0.4%. The slower passenger growth rate is mainly the result of Wizz Air, the airport’s second-largest airline, which has cut operations due to problems affecting its Airbus neo fleet, as well as softer demand for charter flights. Wizz removed 20% of its year-on-year capacity at Belgrade this July or around 32.140 seats. During the January - July period, Belgrade Airport welcomed 4.631.032 travellers, representing an increase of 10.6% or an additional 443.329 passengers.

Horrible business lounge. Worst I've ever been to. Hopefully the remodle will help but I doubt it. Finding the rental car location was a nightmare with the construction and the airport staff were useless.

^how is your comment even related to what the person you replied to? If you must know, the business lounge will be closed and moved to the current Air Serbia Premium Lounge while Air Serbia moves to a new lounge.

To be honest when I flew in July the airport looked empty. However it seems to be very well organized compared to previous years. Congratulations

It also depends on time of the day. On some days airport is empty around 8PM only to get really busy 2 hours later. Mornings are hectic.

I flew in late July. Late morning arrival on QR. honestly felt like there was no one else around except for the flight and it all went super smooth as well. Off the plane and through immigration and customs in about 25 minutes. But the seems to be a quieter time of day from what I’ve seen so far.

Like every hub airport, Belgrade has times when there is a lot of traffic and passengers and times when it is quieter. Dubai, Doha and JFK also have times when they seem empty because the main airline at the airport has departure banks. I really don't understand the point of the discussion.

@23.18 unfortunately for you won't happen. I find it intriguing the amount of people wishing for BEG to fail. Unfortinate for them, it just keeps proving them wrong.

Hope they improve the rotten taxi service
When I went to the prepaid counter the guy thought I was an alien and laughed at me.
Finally fixed Euro 30 for trip to hotel Moskva.
At the hotel the taxi guy said 50 euro and created a scene
Only when I startwd shiyting back and photographed his plate he backed off
An unpleasant way to begin a vacation
