NEWS FLASH

Croatian ACMI specialist FlyAir 41 Airways has secured a new wet-lease contract with Italian carrier Aeroitalia. It will wet-lease its A319 jet to the airline for the entirety of the upcoming winter season, which runs from October 27 until March 29 of next year. The jet, registered 9A-ZAG, will be deployed on flights between Rome Fiumicino Airport and Catania. A wet-lease is a leasing arrangement whereby the lessor provides an aircraft, complete crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) to another airline.

Just saw their schedule for the route. Does that mean that the aircraft will be grounded most of the time? If i saw correctly there is about 4 rotations weekly on that route?
