NEWS FLASH

GP Aviation has temporarily suspended its flights between Pristina and Ljubljana with services scheduled to resume on Monday December 16. Flights will be maintained once per week thereafter. 39 weeks from 1.1.2024-1.10.2024, 120 pax per roatation, but i think there were a few weeks where operations were twice weekly. So rougly a 75% load would be my guess

It's the reality of the situation, nothing to do with Fraport. It's like an echo chamber in here with the LJU fanboys crying all the time.

Was LH flying to FRA twice daily last year as well? Connectivity in LJU is getting worse and worse.

During winter yes, so no change, MUC is upgraded with two daily flights on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. More on LH group ex-YU winter flights published here already in May: https://www.exyuaviation.com/2024/05/lufthansa-and-swiss-boost-ex-yu-winter.html

There is chitchat that they've applied for subsides for Munich flights via their new AOC, no idea which one, and regarding Berlin, I have no idea, OP should clarify that one

Probably they will switch MUC-LJU flights to the new AOC soon, but that doesn’t make them eligible for state subsidies as they are allowed only for new routes (city pairs) and not linked to AOC. However this applies to BER route, which is coming soon.

22:44 that's not true; for example the tender specifically asks for Skopje connection although its already there

Yes, reading tender :) It is specifically for new routes (city areas). The Slovenian government would do anything to secure morning and late afternoon flights to BRU, but subsidies are only possible for Charleroi. As for Lufthansa, sooner or later, regional flights will be operated by Lufthansa City Airlines or Air Dolomiti. According to the new strategy, it seems that LH Cityline is on its way out, as it is planned that smaller regional aircraft routes will be operated by a long-term wet lease partner, similar to how SAS will operate with Braathens.

Someone add Trade Air charters to Wikipedia, at least fill the space in the column with airlines and destinations and brag abroad that we have a charter center.

I took these flights from PRN to LJU and the connectivity was not very good. The prices were almost DOUBLE to fly to the US from PRN compared to BEG.
