NEWS FLASH

Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport has taken steps to bring its security operations in-house, hiring 73 new staff members to manage these critical functions independently. The newly formed in-house Security Operations team will oversee passenger security checkpoints, baggage handling, and the airport apron. “By insourcing these essential airport services, we’re reinforcing our commitment to safety, quality and excellence, with a strong focus on the needs of our passengers and business partners”, airport operator Fraport Slovenija said.

It is not from new job openings. Before this change, LJU was outsourcing security, now they just made a switch, so all people at the former security company doing security at LJU have been re-hired by LJU
