Sarajevo Airport surpasses 2023 annual result

Sarajevo Airport welcomed its record 1.5-millionth passenger last weekend, making 2024 its busiest year. The airport has already surpassed its 2023 end-of-year result, when it welcomed 1.362.007 travellers. In September alone, Sarajevo Airport handled 188.040 customers, up 30.6% on the same month last year. During the first three quarters of 2024, Sarajevo Airport welcomed 1.439.181 travellers through its doors, representing an improvement of 32.9% or an additional 356.662 passengers. The strong growth will continue into October, with capacity levels up 28.1%.
