NEWS FLASH

Embraer has signed a multi-year contract with Air Serbia for its Pool Program, enabling the carrier to receive support for a wide range of repairable components for its Embraer E195 fleet. Currently, Pool Program supports more than sixty airlines worldwide. Air Serbia’s Technical Director, Miroslav Musulin, said, “Joining Embraer's Pool Program represents an important milestone for Air Serbia as we integrate the E195 aircraft into our fleet. This collaboration ensures access to a reliable and efficient support system, enabling us to maintain the highest standards of safety and operational excellence while optimising costs and minimising downtime”. CEO and President of Embraer Services & Support, Carlos Naufel, added, “We are happy to welcome Air Serbia on the Pool, a program designed to support all fleet sizes wherever our customers operate. Embraer is ready to provide the best-in-class service for the airline with its global network. Our company will offer valuable tools for Air Serbia’s growth strategy in the region, reducing downtime and enhancing savings for the airline”. Air Serbia has one E195 in its fleet. The addition of a second jet of the same type is currently under review.

At the rate they are being currently utilized now it seems that there is very little need for a pool agreement.

Why is YU ATB not flying? Now, they have no Embraers flying in the fleet.

It was delivered to BEG in January. You think aircraft go for aircraft maintenance once every 5 years?

Surely not twice a year, with only few tens of hours in the air. If you don’t know much about aviation technology, you shouldn’t post “smart” posts here

Yet you are the dumb one. It goes for maintenance once per year. It was last under maintenance in December 2023.

    Admin, what means “under review”?

It probably means that for this summer season the only E-jet on the fleet will be YU-ATB.
My question is how it makes any financial sense to keep a subfleet of one jet. You need dedicated flight crews for it.

Hopefully AirSerbia will buy their aircraft so they could work on frequencies and development of network. I love E jets

Admin, do you have official reason why YU-ATA won't join JU fleet?
Some say corosion, some say administrative problems...
