NEWS FLASH

Turkish Airlines has scheduled and put on sale flights between Istanbul and Ohrid for the 2025 summer season. The carrier had previously applied for state subsidies to launch the service. Flights will commence on March 27 and operate four times per week, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, with a mix of narrow-body aircraft including the Airbus A321, Boeing 737-800 and B737-900. Further flight details can be viewed here.

Btw, just check the transfer options and TK has some ridiculously low prices for business class to North America in April, from both OHD and SKP to JFK, below $2k round trip

Nothing usual with TK, they also have pretty good / low prices in business class for other destinations from other airports: e.g. Budapest to South America or Sofia to Australia

As a whole they are the best bang for your buck airport. Great service and great connectivity for lower prices than European legacy carriers, which at the same time have worse service. Of course gulf airlines are much better, but they are way more expensive.

4x flights a week? That’s fantastic - especially if they’re using the A321. I thought they are going for 1-2 weekly flights as a start.

It would be good to know the inbound transfer times from EMEA to Ohrid. The potential here to attract new tourists is massive, and this could be a game-changer for the local tourism industry.

Hey buddy, complaining about the schedule and how they should change it. Some of us have toddlers and infants that need to be carried or pushed around. Have you not seen the NEW airport in Istanbul..... it's huge.... and summer flights for some odd reason they make you have a connecting flight on a different level, 4 stories down. And let's not get started about how many times they screen international flights coming back to USA or Australia. So with all that being said, let them pilot this program as is. Believe me, just for them going to OHRID from Istanbul is a big win for alot of people including myself.
